My wife, Heidi, and our son, Ben, are so happy to be here and are looking foward to serving the church and our community.
My hope and prayer for First Baptist is we would grow in our faith and understanding of God's Word and as we grow and learn, we would present our very lives as living sacrifices to God, not being conformed to this world but instead being renewed and transformed by the Power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 12:1-2) I long to see First Baptist filled with believers who not only know what they believe, but also why they believe it. I also hope they come to know not only what the scriptures say, but are also able to effectively communicate them to others.
